These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without a human being (for example, a Communicativ employee) being in between. You can always ask us which computer programs or computer systems we use.

How long do we retain personal data?

Communicativ does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use a standard storage period of 1 year for personal data (personal details, address), with the aim of contacting you if necessary. Personal data of customers are retained for as long as the relationship lasts. Sharing personal data with third parties Communicativ will only disclose personally identifiable information to third parties where necessary to fulfill the agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

To ensure that you were the one who submitted the request for access, we ask that you send a copy of an identity document together with your request. In this copy, black out your passport picture, MRZ (Machine Readable Zone, i.e. the barcode at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. Communicativ would also like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any event within four weeks.
